Brocket Hall Wedding Photographer
As a Brocket Hall Wedding Photographer of many years standing I can honestly state that I have always enjoyed photographing weddings at this prestigious venue in Hertfordshire. Ceremonies can be held in different locations at Brocket Hall. I have photographed them outside the Hall on the lawn, inside the hall itself. In the Piano Room and of course in the Golf Club, which is a very popular option here. So you can see that a Brocket Hall Wedding Photographer has plenty of variety. Wedding couples have several choices when booking their wedding day here.
The setting is surrounded by 543 acres of private parkland with a stunning lake, across from which is the famous Auberge Du Lac restaurant. You can also have your wedding ceremony and reception there for a more intimate affair. Several weddings that I have photographed have ended their reception with a stunning firework display across the far side of the lake.
Brocket Hall has an intriguing history going back to the 13th century right through to the present day. It is a grade 1 listed country house with two golf courses and several buildings within the grounds. It has featured in many films and television productions, for example “Pride & Prejudice” and an episode of Inspector Morse.
I always enjoy photographing at Brocket Hall and last week I met with Daniella and Simon at Brocket Hall for their pre-wedding meet and photoshoot. It was a pleasant morning and we had a chance to discuss final plans for the wedding day and take some informal photographs around the venue. These sessions are always worth doing and serve as a bit of a practice session for the big day! Unless you are a professional model it is always a little unnerving to have a professional photographer turn up on your wedding day. If you have had a few meetings beforehand and got to know your photographer and how he or she works with you, it helps tremendously on the actual wedding day.
I have had a long association with Brocket Hall as a Brocket Hall Wedding Photographer on their recommended list. I know the grounds and the venue well, both in the Mansion House or over in the Oak Room at the golf club. Often on a wedding day we can get the use of a golf buggy and get across to the bridge which you can see in the background of this photograph of Daniella & Simon.
As a Brocket Hall Wedding Photographer I particularly look forward to photographing at this favourite Hertfordshire wedding venue so do get in touch if you are planning your wedding ceremony or reception there. You can contact me by telephone on 07843 437046 or use the contact form here
