Suffolk Wedding Photography
Suffolk wedding photography for Louise & Alex. This was a special one for me as Louise is my niece. My last Suffolk wedding photography assignment was at Yaxley Hall. Saturday’s wedding was a more home grown affair. The church was St Mary’s Aldham which is in a beautiful setting in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. There is some interesting information on the church here. The reception was held in a series of tents and a marquee. This was sited near to Alex’s grandfather’s home. Both families had spent many many hours preparing and decorating the venue. I have to say they did a spectacular job!
Louise’s brother Richard gave a reading at the church. Followed by a prom read by Alex’s sister Bethany. After the church service Louise’s niece Elouise sang for the guests whilst the register signing took place. Young Alfie got a little restless during the ceremony itself as young children often do on these occasions. I took a few photos of him with Alex and Louise from the back of the church.
It was good to see everyone again. My sister Kathy and her husband Tony. Richard and Anna my nephew and niece. Nice to meet Alex’s family as well. His father and grandfather supplied the vintage cars for the day. So all in all this was a real family affair. The fish and chip supper was amazing. Lovely piece of cod all supplied from a van parked alongside the marquee. What a great idea.
I have put together a very quick edit of the photographs here as Noreen and I are about to go off on a well deserved short break. However I will finish the edit when I return. They will all be posted to my online galleries. I will send a special code so that family and friends will be able to purchase any prints at cost price.
Really enjoyed the day and great to meet everyone. Huge congratulations to Louise, Alex and their sons Ollie and Alfie. Wishing them a fantastic time in Thailand for their honeymoon. So looking forward to my next Suffolk wedding photography day wherever that may be.
