Tewin Wedding Photographer
I was privileged to be a Tewin Wedding Photographer for Lucy & Alex’s wedding. I started at the hairdressers in St Albans where Lucy was having her prepared for the day ahead. Then back home for a hearty breakfast. Lucy’s father turned out to be a real character and I captured some great photos of him throughout the day and evening. Meanwhile Alex was conscripted by the reverent Jenny into lighting some candles at the church. At well over six foot in height Alex had no trouble in reaching them! The village of Bramfield lies in the centre of the county of Hertfordshire. A road runs through the village from my home of Knebworth to Hertford, and another leading south connects it with Hertford and Welwyn. It is a sleepy very well kept village with a fine church of St Andrew.
After the wedding and the guests had headed of to Tewin Village Memorial Hall I took some photos of Alex & Lucy together. We used the running board of the wedding car to counteract the difference in heights! Once we arrived at Tewin we took some formal photos on the village green. The imposing brick built Village Hall was built in the 1920’s and stands at the corner of the village green. It was built on land given by Lord Desborough and funded by Sir Otto Beit as a memorial to those who died in the First World War.
A lovely local wedding for me with a great couple and guests. I really enjoyed being a Tewin Wedding Photographer and look forward to working there again. If you are thinking of planning a wedding reception at Tewin here is a link to the Village Hall website.
