what could be better than a beautiful wedding at Christmas time? Anna & Barnaby were wed at this wonderful time of year in the church of St. Dunstan’s in Woking. I have photographed many weddings in this church but this was my first Christmas Wedding there. Once again the ceremony was conducted by Padre Elio Alberti.
My day started at 7:15am where along with videographer John De Rienzo we spent at least twenty minutes trying to locate groom Barnaby’s house! Eventually we found the address. Barnaby had a theme of “Super Heroes” for the day and all of the groomsmen had special cufflinks depicting various super heroes. As you can see Barnaby’s was the Incredible Hulk. Even Anna the bride had a super hero token too.
Barnaby is affectionately know as the bear so he had a special bauble to hang on the christmas tree ….
Meanwhile Anna was with her family preparing for the day ahead. Anna had five bridesmaids in attendance. Vicki De Piano married Anna’s brother Salvatore earlier in the year and I also had the pleasure of photographing that wedding too.
For this Christmas Wedding day Great Foster’s was looking somewhat different to when we last visited the beautiful grounds at this Hotel. That was a glorious summer’s day when I met with Anna and Barnaby for their pre-wedding shoot. You can view that day here. The grounds here are stunning. We had some light rain which proved a good opportunity to use the umbrella that the couple brought with them. After the wedding breakfast all of the guests were invited outside for some fun with the provided sparklers. Then on to the traditional cake cutting followed by Anna & Barnaby’s first dance together as husband and wife. Anna also followed this with a dance with her father Angelo.
