Saturday was my first visit as a Hallingbury Manor Wedding Photographer. Situated near to Bishops Stortford on the Hertfordshire / Essex borders Hallingbury is in an attractive wooded setting with recently updated grounds and lake. Perfect spot for a summer wedding and also very close to Stansted Airport if you have guests travelling from overseas etc.
Louise and Simon chose the venue as it was a central location for their family and friends. Louise and her bridal party were busy getting ready when I arrived. Videographer Richard Knight of White Dress Films and his assistant Gem Jackson were already hard at work. Michelle Macgregor was also very busy with the make-up for the girls and Louise looked absolutely stunning when Michelle had finished.
Simon looked suitably nervous as he waited for his bride. Despite the threat of rain and the unclement weather we did take photographs out by the lakeside at Hallingbury and during the meal Louise and Simon bravely agreed to do a few photographs outside at the front of the venue. Young Henry and Ralph got in at the end of the speeches and kept everyone entertained.
Next week I am looking forward to photographing Nicola & Justin’s wedding at The Priory Barn, Little Wymondley. After that there is just one more wedding at Brocket Hall on the 27th and I am finished for 2013. Roll on 2014!
In January 2014 on the 11th & 12th I will be attending the Knebworth House Wedding Show and I will have a special show offer for attendees. I also have a limited number of free tickets, so if you would like to go do get in touch.
The dates for your diary are Saturday & Sunday 11th & 12th January at Knebworth House The Wedding show – doors open at 10:00am – see you there!
